Maestro Harold Rosenbaum and The New York Virtuoso Singers are pleased to announce New Notes Initiative, an ongoing series of concerts consisting exclusively of choral works by emerging American composers. To inaugurate this program, NYVS presented a concert of 10 BMI Young Composer Award recipients on May 19th, 2024, NYVS will present 4 more concerts of young American composers over the next 3 seasons. In addition to this exciting enterprise, the choir will present concerts including works by Bach, Hans Werner Henze, Thea Musgrave, Milton Babbitt, George Perle, Shulamit Ran, Yehudi Wyner, and many others.
